Mark Hamlin

Mr. Hamlin is president and founder of The Reserve Group, a company that specializes in the acquisition, revitalization and expansion of industrial manufacturing companies.

Prior to forming The Reserve Group in 1995, Mr. Hamlin had been a vice president of The Brenlin Group and president of R. M. Hamlin, Co., a real estate developer and general contractor. He began his career as a lending officer with the Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust Co. in Chicago. While living in Chicago, Mr. Hamlin earned the designation of a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Hamlin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Colgate University and a Master’s degree from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

Mr. Hamlin has 30+ years in corporate management and leadership. He is skilled in corporate finance, acquisitions and divestitures and manufacturing operations. His life mission has been the coaching, mentoring and development of other young leaders.

Mr. Hamlin and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married for 34 years and have two children. Their son, Richard, is president of one of the thirteen portfolio companies and their daughter, Faith, is currently a Junior at Colgate University.
