Preventing “Free-riding” in International Environmental Agreements

Dr. William NordhausAs our understanding of the science, technologies, and policy instruments involved in climate change and slowing emissions has advanced greatly, the analysis of the international political economy of climate policies is still in its infancy. On October 2, 2014 at 5:00, Dr. William Nordhaus of Yale University will present “Climate Clubs: How to prevent free-riding in international environmental agreements.”  The lecture is a part of a series funded by the Henry and Bryna David endowment, which awards innovative research in the behavioral and social sciences.
