Roundtable on Application of Social and Behavior Science Research
Discusses the values of and strategies to maximize the usefulness, application, and communication of social and behavioral sciences research in society. 

Roundtable on Health Literacy
Discusses challenges facing health literacy practice and research, and identifies approaches to promote health literacy through mechanisms and partnerships in both the public and private sectors.

Roundtable on Public Interfaces of the Life Sciences (inactive)
Facilitated on-going discussion and information exchange among life scientists engaged in research, social scientists who study science communication, and professional communication practitioners about needs and evidence-based approaches to improve public engagement in science.

Climate Change and Education Roundtable (inactive)
Fostered discussions about the challenges to and strategies for improving climate science and climate change education for the general public, and for students in elementary, secondary and post-secondary education.

Committee on Science, Engineering, and Public Policy (COSEPUP) 
Conducts workshops and studies on cross-cutting issues in science and technology policy; and  monitors key developments in U.S. science and technology policy for the Academies’ leadership.
